Right click and edit the lantern
Check the 'edit linked' box
Select the lantern glass
go to the 'features' tab
there will be a checkbox that says 'light'
check this. A white box beside it will be enabled... simply click this box and tint it the color you want.
Voilà, instant dramatic lighting.
